Samsung’s eagerly-anticipated Galaxy Unpacked February 2022 event is finally here. And as usual, we have a deluge of newly-announced devices that will be huge mainstays throughout 2022. The South Korean electronic giants unveiled three smartphones, including the Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra to much fanfare. The flagship Galaxy Tab S series also got some love with a brand new iteration. Samsung Galaxy S22 And Galaxy S22+ – Minor Upgrades All-Around
The Samsung Galaxy S22 And Galaxy S22+ are very similar to last year’s Galaxy S21 and Galaxy S21+. They sport the same signature design language introduced with their predecessors. Specs-wise, apart from a newer and more powerful chipset, there isn’t much to separate them.
Instead, most of the new stuff lies inside the camera system. The new devices bring pro-grade camera quality across its three lenses, which is led by a new 50-megapixel shooter. Features like optical image stabilisation with 58% wider correction and video digital image stabilisation with four times more motion data keep videos that you capture more stable than ever. And then there’s AI Stereo Depth Map that helps to produce more refined portrait shots with better bokeh effect.

Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra – Say Hello To The New Note
The buzz surrounding the Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra centres around it inheriting more of the Galaxy Note features. True enough, the new phone is the Note reincarnated, complete with a built-in slot to store the S Pen. The new stylus is three times more responsive than the one offered as an optional accessory for the Galaxy S21 Ultra.
Samsung is also introducing a new feature on the Galaxy S22 Ultra called Vision Booster. It greatly enhances the visibility of the display and viewing experience even under direct sunlight.
Similar to its two smaller siblings, the Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra also leans hard in the mobile photography department. With “Nightography” features, the phone can take bright, clear, and crisp-looking photos and videos in low light settings.
