Moxibustion is a special form of Traditional Chinese Medicine therapy which involves the burning of moxa; a cone or stick made out of ground mugwort leaves. This stimulates specific acupoints or meridians throughout the body. Thus promoting healing and improving the flow of Qi. Instructions: 1. Take a small moxibustion tube and remove its cover. 2. Ignite the moxa grain from the groove on both sides. 3. Place the cover back on. 4. Remove the sticker at the bottom. 5. Place the moxa on each acupoint, making sure that the area is clean beforehand. 6. If it is too warm, lift up the moxa slightly. Few example Acupoints for Moxibustion: 1. Zusanli Point - About four-fingers below the knee cap, in a dent on the side of the bone. 2. Zhongwan Point - In between the navel and the lower sternum. 3. Tianshu Point - Three-finger spaces beside the navel. 4. Yinlingquan Point - While sitting, use your thumb to push along the inner edge of the inner calf bone. Push from bottom to top, up until the knee joint. The point is in the depression where the tibia bends upward. 5. Neiguan Point - Three-finger space (2 inches) above the wrist, between the two tendons.
