Potassium permanganate is a strong oxidizing agent with disinfectant properties. Generally used to clean and disinfect minor wound externally. Can also be use to disinfect item from bacteria and parasites. Pure Potassium Permanganate (KMnO4) Mild antiseptic and astringent (something that dries the skin). It is used for/ Digunakan untuk: 1) infected eczema / Ekzema dijangkiti kuman 2) Leg ulcers that may be weeping (leaking) or blistering / ulser kaki yang basah 3) External wounds / luka kulit luaran 4) Gatal Kulit DIRECTION FOR USE / CARA GUNA: Dissolve a few crystals in a container of water. Dilute it to a light pink colour. Larutkan sikit kristal dalam air sampai menjadi warna merah jambu. Then use this solution as follows/ Air larutan ini oleh digunakan untuk: • Bath / Mandi - Fill a tubful with the solution and use for bathing. Bilas dengan air larutan. • Compress - Moisten strips of cotton or gauze in the solution. Wrap the strips around the affected areas for 10 minutes. If they dry out, add more solution. Basahkan kapas atau kain kasa dan tutup kulit untuk dirawat selama 10 minit. Tambah air larutan kalau jadi kering. • Soak / Rendam - Fill a bathtub or a basin with enough solution to immerse the affected areas. Soak for about 10 minutes. Rendam selama 10minit dalam baldi atau tab mandi yang isi penuh air larutan sampai menutup kulit yang perlu dirawat. • Wash / Cuci- Dip cotton or a gauze in the solution and use to wash affected areas. Basahkan kapas atau kain kasa dan cuci kulit yang perlu dirawat. Points to note / Nota penting: • Do not make solution too concentrated or use crystals directly on affected areas as these will irritate and burn the skin. Jangan buatkan larutan terlalu pekat atau letak kristal terus atas kulit. Kulit akan menjadi merah bengkak terbakar. • Dab dry after use. It is not necessary to rinse off with clean water. Lap kering selepas guna. Tak perlu bilas dengan air lagi. • Use either warm or cool water to make the solution. Boleh guna air suam atau sejuk untuk buatkan larutan. • Always wear gloves as KMnO4 may stain the skin, nails and light clothing a brown colour. Sila pakai sarung tangan keran Kulit, kuku dan baju boleh stain perang kalau terkena KMnO4. • To remove fresh stains from the skin, rub over with a damp tablet of vitamin C. - Store tightly close and dry / Tutup ketat dan simpan kat tempat kering. - Keep away from sources of ignition and heat / Jangan letak depat sumber panas. - Keep out of reach of children / Jauhi daripada kanak-kanak. - For external use only / Untuk kegunaan luar sahaja.
