PROSPAN COUGH SYRUP ( 100ML / 200ML ) / PROSPAN F COUGH SYRUP ( 9 STICK PACKS / 100ML )

PROSPAN COUGH SYRUP is a natural product and contains an active ingredient which is purely herbal. PROSPAN F COUGH SYRUP is now available with fresh menthol taste to sooth throat irritation.

COMPOSITIONS:

5mL of Liquid/ One STICK PACK (5ml) contains:

35mg of Hedera Helix Extract (dried Ivy Leaf Extract) from leaf (5 - 7.5: 1)

6.7mg of Potassium Sorbate (as Preservative)

1.925g (0.16 BU) of Sorbitol (as Sugar Substitute)

No added Alcohol, Sugar or Colouring

SUITABLE FOR:

» Children from 2 years old & above

DOSAGE:

SHAKE WELL BEFORE USE

Unless otherwise prescribed,

» Children (2-5 years): take 2.5mL of solution 3 times daily (PROSPAN COUGH SYRUP ONLY).

» Schoolchildren (6-11 years): take 5mL of solution/ one stick pack 2 times daily.

» Adults (>12 years): take 5.0 of solution/ one stick pack 3 times daily.

Can be taken with or without food.

DURATION OF USE:

» Duration of treatment depends on the type and severity; however treatment should last for at least one week

» Treatment with Prospan Cough Syrup should be maintained for 2-3 days after symptoms have subsided, in order to ensure lasting success of therapy.

ADVERSE REACTIONS:

In rare cases, Prospan Cough Syrup may have a laxative effect due to the content of sorbitol in the product.

» Please consult your pharmacist/ doctor if symptoms persist/ worsen

» In the event of fructose intolerance, treatment should be carried out only after consultation with a doctor

» In the event of persistent complaints of the appearance of shortness of breath, fever as well as purulent or bloody expectoration, a doctor should be consulted immediately.

PREGNANCY AND BREAST-FEEDING:

» Insufficient reliable data. This medicine should not be used, as there have not been enough studies performed on pregnant women and mothers who breastfeed.
