What does the expiration date mean?
The needle and microchip transponder are designed to last forever, so they will never expire. However, the sterilisation gas that is used for the packaging, which is called ethylene oxide gas (EtO), does have an expiration date, and that is the expiration date that you see on the packaging.
NOTE 2: After purchasing the microchip, it will need to be administered by a registered veterinarian with an active Annual Practising Certificate in Malaysia. Please do not try to attempt administering the microchip into your pet yourself.
