In chapter 2 the notions of assimilaton will be discussed followed by chapeter 3 which discusses the core values and sociocultural practices of the Indian and Malay communities in Malaysia. Chapter 4 detils the methods of the study and Chapter 5 presents and summarises the findings. In Chapter 6, the findings will be discussed and concluded.
