How MucoKids works Carbocysteine, a mucoregulator, reduces viscosity of mucus as well as protects the breathing passages against infection and irritation. - not to be used in children below two (2) years of age. Pregnancy and lactation Safety for use in pregnancy has not been established. DIRECTION FOR USE: Adults: oral 750mg reduced to 375mg three times daily when a response is obtained.
